Achievements

The ladies team starts their 8th consecutive season in the ladies Finnish Premier league.
They have won it in 2006 and in 2007.

The men's first team starts their 3th consecutive season in the men's Finnish Premier league.
They have reached the fourth place both in 2006 and in 2007.
The best achievement of the men's first team is reaching the Finnish Cup final in 1969.

FC Honka is also known as a prominent youth club with many national youth team players.
The youth teams have won numerous tournaments and are always treated with respect by the opponent teams.

FC Honka is also the founder of the Helsinki Cup, which was established in 1974.
The Helsinki Cup annually attracts over 800 teams to participate in the international tournament.
FC Honka is in charge of the arrangement for this tournament with KäPa (Käpylän Pallo),
the other founder club of Helsinki Cup.

Number of players

For the last few years there have been an annual amount of over 1300-1400 licensed players in FC Honka,
which makes FC Honka the second biggest football club in Finland.
The biggest is Ilves from Tampere.

Most of the players are youth players.
There are both boys and girls teams in the club.
Overall there are over 6.000 licensed players in Espoo.

FC Honka was promoted for the first time to the Finnish Premier league
in 2005 after 50 years of men's soccer in Tapiola.
